As an employee in Norway, you will experience an inclusive society with safe conditions for family life, strong welfare systems and opportunities for both partners and children. Whether you plan to learn Norwegian before arriving or begin language training after moving here, you will find supportive structures and an open working environment that values your background and expertise.

Moved to Norway

“The main reason we moved, was to give the children a better place to grow up. More nature, clean air and more peace around us. And that mum and dad came home earlier, so we could do nice things together. And spend our free time experience Norway.” Sandy and Rolf Voorbach

“When I moved from the Netherlands to Norway, I quicly discovered a different work culture. Work is important, but the balance between work and private life must be taken seriously. The pace is calmer and everyday life is more predictable.

At the same time, I experience Fagskolen Innlandet as a very forwardleaning institution where we work as one team and where there are strong opportunities to develop professionally as a teacher. The working conditions are good, with a high degree of freedom and flexibility in our teaching.

And even though it may seem far north, it is easy to travel from here – afterall, Oslo Airport is only about an hour away, and Oslo offers good connections to the rest of Europe. For me, this has become a place where it is good to both work and live.”

International cooperation and Erasmus+

The school actively participates in international cooperation through the EU programme Erasmus+. This gives both students and teachers the opportunity to collaborate with educational institutions across Europe and to participate in academic exchanges and development projects. The goal is to strengthen the quality of our education and provide both staff and students with experience from an international learning environment.
